New Video: A Yellow Spot on the Sun

Since autumn is setting in properly in the UK now, Papa Jay and I took a trip to Richmond Park today to mark the end of the flying season and enjoy the unusually nice weather. We then rushed home (after a pizza!) to make sure we can still edit the footage and show a teaser of what it's like to be out and about with the London RC Project folks! Filmed entirely on a GoPro Hero HD camera.

Enjoy!

Richmond Park Flying Field's Flight Trials!

We here at London RC Project are quite excited to invite you to support and participate in the Richmond Park Flying Field's Trial Flight Programme! "Interested in model flying but don’t know where to start? Want to have a go but don’t want to invest in all the equipment fearing that you will not continue flying?" - this is for you!

Our good friend James from rpff.org is the man responsible for installing and maintaining the state-of-the-art anemometer (windspeed station), which feeds live data to a widely-available OpenAnemometer project for every flyer to peruse before packing their car full of planes and hitting the park!

Good luck James!
